    Almost Perfect

    As someone who has worked as a fashion director for Saks(many moons ago)I will answer the most important questions…Yes, it looks exactly like photos, 2nd how is the fit? I am 5’5”..and assumed I would get the length I wanted, +5” due to the height difference between the model and myself. I weigh 112-114 lbs, wear a size 2 on top, 34A bra, and a 2 in most skirts and 2/4 in pants and trousers depending on the cut. I believe the dress is cut like another MILLY dress I own, where the waist and hips are a bit relaxed. I do not think it runs small…it is not a tight sheath cut. I have one complaint about the dress, the arm holes seem a bit low and therefore, pulls in that area with movement. I have addressed this by wearing a push-up strapless bra that lifts the armholes so they are less restrictive….not a perfect solution but will work. For those with larger busts, I doubt they would have my concern. That said, I believe that the midriff area and bust were cut too large for a size 2. I think the dress overall is very pretty, and with the exception of the aforementioned armhole issue, the dress is striking. I intend to wear a black sheer leg, and black satin pumps, and fushia drop earrings to accessorize for a Valentine Dance. Despite the very short length shown in the Milly website photo, it can be tastefully worn by older women (I am 66) if they are shorter in height, where the scalloped hem hits me about 3” above my knee.     Runs very small, I always wear a size 4, needed a size 6 in this dress. Unfortunately can’t return it!

    Glamorous and fun…

    This dress was above my expectations for a gala I attended. As a mature woman I wanted a glamorous sexy look (yes even at my age we want that). As an outdoorsy person all my life my skin has sun damage so did not want a lot showing. The netting on the upper bodice and sleeves were perfect. The appliqué was beautifully done no hanging threads and the colors were stunning. The dress quality as far as costruction was superior. The full length pictures are me trying it on for my husband when it arrived. Did not have one from the gala.
