This was such a perfect and FUN reception dress for my wedding! We got married on 6/1/24 and my ceremony dress had sleeves. Because it was a summer wedding, I knew I'd want something sleeveless for dancing, and this was the perfect find.
In terms of comfort – I'm on the taller side (5'9") so there aren't a ton of reception dresses that I felt comfortable in that weren't full on maxi dresses, but this was such a great middle ground given it has the shorter shift with the longer sheer overskirt. Speaking of the skirt...it was so incredibly fun to dance in! It had me twirling all night. I truly didn't want to take it off and can't wait to find an event I can rewear it to!
In terms of sizing, I sized up because the hips felt a bit slimmer to me in my typical size (I'm usually an 8 but went with a 10) Because I sized up for extra hip room, the waist and bust felt a bit big but not so much so that it was noticeable. The extra elastic enclosure in the back behind the zipper definitely helped with this!
If you're considering this dress, it is 100% worth it! The quality is incredible, and the silhouette and the fabric are unlike anything I'd seen (and I looked for a really long time!).

This is the dress without tailoring and this is me with messy hair and makeup. The dress fits wonderfully and is just a tiny bit big in the waist. I'm in love with this dress and I can't wait to elope in it with the perfect guy! The dress is gorgeous. Buy it before it's gone!
